5 TIPS ON HOW YOU CAN GIVE TO THE DISABLED AND LESS PRIVILAGE

You must not have to donate money to make a difference... There are other things you can do to create a positive change in the lives of the disabled and less privileged.

1. DONATE YOUR TIME:

Time is precious... Time is value... You can donate your time to assist those who are helpless.

You can help them to wash they clothes, wash their plate, cook their food, take them for a walk, keep them company and show them love. In fact a little time you spend with these people is enough to give them hope, it makes them to know that someone cares about them and that alone can take their pains away.

2. DONATE YOUR SKILLS

Yes, you can donate your skills but first you need to know what you can do best. If you are good at sewing, you can teach them how to sew clothes, if you are good at singing, you can teach them how to sing, if you are good at baking, you can teach them how to bake cakes and stuffs like that.

What ever skill you teach to the less privileged  will go a long way to help them become useful to themselves and the society at large.

3. DONATE USED AND UNWANTED ITEMS

You can donate your used items and belongings such as; clothing, bags, shoes, slippers etc. Instead of burning them or wasting them in the trash, kindly take the items to the nearest charity organization close to you.

That piece of item you think is worthless could be a treasure in the eyes of the needy. That worthless piece of cloth could be a source of blessing for you.

4. DONATE FOOD

There is love in sharing! You can share your food or food stuffs with the less privilege no matter how little. The more you do so the more blessing you acquire to yourself.

If you form the habit of sharing food with the less privileged, you can never go hungry.

5. ENCOURAGE OTHER PEOPLE TO DONATE

You can be very useful to the disabled and less privileged by encouraging other people who has the capacity to donate to do so.

You can reach out to men of capacity, you serve as an intermediary for the disabled and you could help source for funds and other resources that could be of help to the helpless.
