Nike Center for the Disabled was founded in 1972. Since then, the Marist Brothers have been managing it very successfully.
People like Chief Lanky, Bro. Peter Leonard and Francis Ohiri (to mention but three) have been Directors in the Center. Presently, Bro. Gabriel Oboh is the Director of the Center.
The Center has people who are blind, lame, deaf, mad people, spinal cord injury patients and some cured lepers. These people have their wives and children and they face the challenges of feeding them, clothing them and sending them to school.
Without help from Philanthropist, it is almost impossible for them to coupe challenges they face everyday therefore we welcome all form of assistance from whoever that could afford to do so as we remember you in our daily prayers. God Bless.
